I conducted a survey on the assessment of the care process by using questionnaires and focus group interviews of nine sophomores who had just finished with their Care Practicum II at Z care worker training institution (atwo-yearcourse).\nAs a result, the students could receive all the information they were assigned, but some answers including the patients' everyday activities,current living conditions, and physical and psychological conditions were insufficient.Thus this area must be improved and the teachers must come up with better teaching methods for the students.The students' requests for improvement are as follows: The objectives of gaining information and identifying notable points became vague; the effective techniques of extracting the patients' answers were unclear; and their reports using technical terms seemed to be unclear to third parties.In addition, my interviews with the students show that freshmen insist that they need more learning of a larger variety of cases, and sophomore need more time for discussing every case, more advices and guidance for improving their ability to assess, and more advices and guidance for identifying the order of priorities of everyday needs.\nAll the students' answers received from interviews are highly suggestive for the reconsideration of the teaching methods of care process.
