Employers are expected not merely to focus on general support strategies for workers with PDD, but also to respect their individual rights as employees. For this study, semi-structured interviews of two employees with PDD were conducted and collected data was then analyzed using qualitative research methods. Results indicate that, if employers want their employees with PDD to work more effectively, they need to demonstrate how to do things in a tangible way, to help them better understand the nature of their disability, and to facilitate the accumulation of workplace experience.
